I just came back from your Pre-K celebration of your 5th birthday. I watched you as everyone sang to you and I saw my baby has become a little girl. You make me so proud every day.

You love to plan (I don't know where you get that from ;) ) and so you helped plan your birthday party this past weekend, along with your 6th and 7th birthday party! Just to be prepared! Oh how you make me laugh!

We did have a wonderful time at your fairy and dragon party. A fairy named Rosemary came and played games with you and your friends, sang songs, read a book, and even painted faces! You looked like you were having an amazing time!

We then of course went to Disneyland for your actual birthday (and the next day too since it was on Labor Day). We got to do the night time parade which you said you loved! And then the next day, Grandma spoiled you and took you to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! You chose to be Ariel and got all dressed up! You looked beautiful (as you always do!). Gaston even came by and kept calling you fish and asked you to marry him! You said NO, you said you had a boyfriend already, Ryder! You also enjoyed the Monorail, Autopia, Small World, and of course meeting Cinderella, Ariel, Snow White, Tinkerbell, Minnie, and Mickey!

This past year I have really seen you grow! You can now write your name (and very legible too!) and your drawings have gotten very impressive as well, from circles being all a person was, so now a full fledged stick person (sometimes even with clothes!). You love to be creative and do all sorts of crafts. You are also quite inquisitive and love to ask questions and want to know why things happen the way they do.

You still love books and we read at least two a night! You are starting to learn some of your words and told me your goal for this year was to learn how to read! I know you will get there! I love our reading time together at night. You still love for me to sing to you at night as well and I hope you still want that for awhile. I love my snuggle time with you and am glad that you still want to be close to momma!

This year, we also got to go on a big adventure and did a girls trip! You and I flew by ourselves to Florida and then met up with Grandma! We did a day at Universal Studios, where you were not the biggest fan, but did like the Dr. Seuss area and the Curious George area! The next day we went to DisneyWorld and we stayed at Port Orleans - Riverside in the Princess Room. It was magical! You LOVED being in that room! We then went and had breakfast with Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder (who you LOVED), plus Eric and Ariel. After that was Epcot for some fun, your favorite being the Frozen Ride, The next day was the Magic Kingdon where we got to have breakfast in Cinderella's Castle and you met lots of princesses! And then went on your favorite ride, the Seven Dwarfs Mine Ride!

So many more things have happened this year, and I have just been in awe watching you take it all on and can't wait to see what this year will bring!!

I love you to the moon, the stars, and the planets, and pluto! Always and forever!

Oh my goodness, how you have grown! I look at pictures from just a year ago and you still looked like a baby/toddler. You still had your pacifier with you and I could see my baby. Now, you are such a little girl. It is truly amazing to watch you and listen to you. Daily I am amazed by what you say and do.

Right now, you have the most amazing imagination. You have created this whole other world that you share with me daily. You have created a palace, that lives between the human world and the unicorn world. You tell me that a boy who is so old (because he is 4) named Connor Lucas lives there and he takes care of your unicorns. Because, of course, you have many unicorn pets in a variety of colors and sizes! This world you have created has so many details to it that you share. And, my favorite part is that when you are happy with Daddy or I, you will tell us that we are on the list (to get into your palace) and if you are mad at us, we are off the list. I truly hope you keep this creative side of you as it is so wonderful!

You also are so clever and smart. Your teachers are constantly telling me how clever you are. The other day, one of the teachers who only works the afternoons, asked when you would be 5. I looked confused and then said she is only 3. He thought you were going to kindergarten next year as you were so ahead of your peers. Apparently, you decided to be the teacher and had all the kids sit down and you taught them science class. The teacher had to come over and tell the kids to run around because they had been sitting so long, listening to you! You then took that as a cue to turn your class into ballet class, so it was active! If you are already doing this at 3, I can't wait to see what you accomplish when you are older!

You have really gotten into dance lately as well. You love to listen to music and just get up and dance now. It is really cute, if we are eating out and you hear a song you like, you just get up and dance. I also hope you keep this and just dance! Your face just lights up and I can see how happy you are.

You have also become quite the fashion diva. You refuse to let us pick your clothes out. You have to do it and you usually prefer dresses over anything else. At the moment, your look, as Daddy describes it, is bag lady look. A lot of layers, crazy prints together, and all sorts of things! I love it and think it is hilarious and am just fine if you keep this your style!! Much better than super short skirt and crop top!

You are also an amazing big sister. You are so sweet (usually!) to Orion and are always trying to take care of him. Each morning at daycare, you ask that I put him down so you can walk him to his class. You grab hold of his hand and you both walk down the hall and it truly is the sweetest thing. The teachers have told me that they normally don't let siblings stay in the classroom, but they let you, because you actually play with Orion. You try and hold his hand when we are driving, and calm him down when he is crying. We have been going through a lot of renovations at our house and you had to sleep in Orion's room a couple of nights. He is not sleeping through the night yet, so when he woke up, it woke you up, and you got up, patted him and tried to calm him down. I truly hope that you both are always this loving and close to one another. It is really special to watch!

Right now I am also loving bed time as usually it is a "mommy" night and I put you to bed. I know I should make this a faster process, but honestly, I love every second of it. We read one book (though you usually con me into more), sing one song (which you also con me into more), and then I pat your back for 5 minutes (which turns into 15), before you finally fall asleep (or I have been in your room for 30+ minutes and I say goodnight and leave). This is the time when you usually tell me your day and your stories of your palace and I love just snuggling with you as you fall asleep.

I am so proud to be your mommy and of all the things that you do! I just love watching you figure things out. I know I have used this word a ton, but you truly are amazing, my love!

As I say each night, I love you to the moon, to the stars, and to the planets, always and forever!

A whole year old, I can't believe it. This year flew, as I knew it would. I still can't believe it as I can vividly remember going in to have the embryo transfer that created you, and then that positive test that confirmed you were going to be with us, and finding out you were a boy, and then heading to the hospital for the c--section, and of course, the moment they lifted you up and I saw you for the first time. All those moment all feel like just yesterday. And now, here you are, a one year old, who loves to run, smile, and babble away!

This has been such an amazing year, tough at times as you still haven't slept through the night, but amazing. You are our happy little dinosaur. We are constantly stopped when we are out because people come over to talk to you since you are waving and grinning at everyone. Your preschool even nominated you as President of the class, because they call your Mr. Personality. :)

This past month you had your last first holiday which was Halloween. You were the Beast. Your sister wanted to be Belle, so we all dressed the party. I know there will not be too many more years where we can do that, so since you didn't seem to have an opinion on the matter, you were the Beast and the most adorable Beast I have ever seen!

You still love pretty much every food we have given you. A few things like green beans, you haven't loved, but for the most part you eat it all :) You have started to really love bread and potatoes though, which makes me happy as those are my favorites! Your sister doesn't love potatoes, so I am happy I can share it with you!

You are now running all over the place and trying to climb EVERYTHING! You are keeping us on our toes for sure. You love to explore and wander and make lots of noise as well. You also really love birds. You get so excited watching all the birds outside. It is fun watching you take in the world.

You are also babbling up a storm and "talking" a lot more now. You can say Mama, Dada, Aurora (rora), ball, and more (the word more). The rest at the moment just sounds like babbling, I know you think you are saying things, and soon enough, that babble will turn into words.

Sleep - this is the one area that you just do not want to do. Between being sick and teeth coming in and us trying to get you to sleep, it just isn't happening. Right now you are up 2 times a night. I pray you start to sleep soon as I do worry about my sanity sometimes! :) I know you will get there and sleep when you decide you are ready.

I am so thankful for this amazing year with you. I love you more and more each day my little dinosaur. I look forward to watching you grow and become a toddler this coming year and see more of your personality come out.

Love always and forever,

MommyAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14250010623465183744noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7714372584003732542.post-3391313559660993962016-10-07T17:01:00.001-07:002016-10-07T17:01:47.294-07:0011 Months!Orion,

How is it possible that you will be one in a month! Where did this year go! You are becoming such a big boy now. The biggest item this past month is that you are now WALKING! All month you worked up to it, you started to take a step here and there early on, but your first official steps where you took 3 in a row was on September 23. And you have taken more and more each day. Now you look like a little zombie when you walk as you hold your hands out in front of you. It is so cute!

You also love to eat ALL the things. You are our eater for sure. You have loved everything we have given you. We already have to get you kids meals, as you are eating so much at a time. You seem to really love bread in any form, so I think you will be like Mommy and a carbaholic :)

This month we also went Apple picking which was so fun! You loved looking through the trees and trying some apples. Now that you have 6 teeth, you are able to eat more things. Which these teeth all came in a flurry. It was rough for awhile while they came in, but you were great about it! I think more are on their way, so we will see how you handle it.

As also went to the beach this month and it was the first time you really played with the sand and saw the water. Last time you slept through it all in the carrier! You seemed to really love it, so I look forward to more trips as your sister loves it as well.

The one area we are still working on is your sleep. You still wake up a minimum of two times a night. I know you will sleep someday, I just keep praying it is sooner than later.

You are such a joy. This is what I hear constantly from the teachers at your school. Everyone comments on how happy you are. It makes me so happy to see your big grin and when you wave at everyone. And your laugh is such a sweet sound! I hope you keep this happy demeanor as it is infectious and just makes everyone around you happy as well!

You are also starting to say a few more words. Daddy and I swear we have heard you say: Ball, Aurora (rora), more, dog, and of course mama and dada. You are constantly babbling, so I know soon enough the babble will start to take on more words as well.

I love you always and forever!

MommyAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14250010623465183744noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7714372584003732542.post-77961964205677022642016-09-21T08:47:00.000-07:002016-09-21T08:47:02.250-07:0010 Months Old!Orion,

Sorry, a bit late this month! But, better late than never, right? :)

This past month was the month of teeth! You went from almost no teeth to 4 teeth and two more on the way! It was a bit rough, but even when I could tell you were in pain, you kept that happy smile on your face (in between crying). I pray that after these two, you get a break, because it has been a tough month!

You are a mover and shaker! You get very cranky if you do not have the ability to run (or crawl). You are very quick with your crawling, but you also are taking more and more assisted steps. You are not as fast that way though, so you tend to switch back to crawling pretty fast. You are also a climber, I cannot turn away for a second, otherwise you are climbing up on something! I know the first steps are not far behind, and soon it will be running, and I will be chasing you and your sister everywhere!

You LOVE your food. You have eaten pretty much anything we give you. And you want more, more, more! I crack up at meal times all the time as you now like to bang on the tray and then wave your hand toward you as if saying, more, mama, more. And a few times, it sounds like you are even saying that! Your favorite at the moment though seems to be blueberries, and bread, you love bread. Anytime we give you something you like, you will drop whatever is in your hand, to pick it up. So, we have to slowly hand food over!

Sleep - elusive sleep. You almost got to sleeping through the night, and then the teething started and that ruined everything. So, hopefully, once the teeth are in and you have a break from that, we can get back on track with sleep, and maybe even sleep through the night?!!

You are a happy boy and love to wave at everyone walking by! You are mister personality. Everyone comments on how happy you are and your big smile. Now, you have started to do this little booty dance, which is just too cute!

I love you always and forever my little dinosaur!

I can't believe it, but somehow you are now 3 years old! I still vividly remember leaving for the hospital to have you as if it was yesterday, and now I look at your smiling, mischievous face and don't know how the time went so fast!

You are such a clever girl. I know that we are going to be in big trouble when you are older! You are already a master manipulator and are a pro and finding ways to get what you want. Just the other day, we told you that you couldn't bring a toy into the car. You took that and said ok. Then 5 minutes later, you said that you needed to bring the toy because Orion was crying and this would make him happy. So, clever, but we saw through you! Sometimes, we give in, like when you ask for another story at bedtime. Which you also found a work around. I would tell you, only two books tonight. I would read two books and turn off the light, you then ask for one more story, but with my voice. Clever girl again! :) I love watching how you find these ways around and watching your mind work.

I LOVE that you love to read. It makes me so happy seeing you sitting with a book looking through it. You are getting better at pointing out different letters. You tell us the all time that you can't read yet and are sad about it. So, we are working on it and I bet by the time you are 4, you will have some words down :) You also love going to the library and the bookstore, which are the best stores, so we go often. I love watching you choose your books, you like a wide variety so it is fun. I can't wait to start sharing some of my favorite books with you! :)

You are very verbal. So many people comment to us on how verbal you are. You crack me up with your stories that you tell, and especially all your hand movements! You are very expressive! At the moment, you are very big into putting your hands on your hips, which looks hilarious. You also tend to be a bit of a nark at school telling the teachers anytime someone doesn't listen. Which, on one hand I am happy you are following the rules, but I do worry for the future as kids don't tend to like being told on! We will see how this unfolds! You can now count to 20, say the alphabet, and sing lots of songs! You love to sing and dance. We just signed you up for dance and I can't wait to watch you!

It seems you have gotten my palate for food and therefore really hate vegetables. We try and try, but you refuse. I can't really blame you as I don't like them either, but I eat them or your benefit, so hopefully you will eat them soon. You are also the slowest eater ever! I thought I was slow, but you are like a bird just pecking at your food. Most meals, we have to remind you multiple times to keep eating, please eat, just one more bite, so on and so forth. We will see if this is just a phase or not!

One of the very exciting things you did this year was master the potty! Yay! We put you in pull ups early in the year and you did great with it! We could have switched you out earlier, but we had a big vacation and were worried so we kept you in pull ups a bit longer. But, once you made the switch to underwear, you went all in and declared you were a big girl and have rarely had an accident. Only two that I can think of and both times you were very distracted and knew you needed to go, but didn't want to leave what you were doing. You also have had only one at night time, which is also amazing. We are so proud!

You also have quite the fashion sense! I am not sure where it came from as it wasn't me! You love shoes and picking out your dresses and socks. You are very opinionated and your clothing choice each morning is one area you like to assert your self. We just let you wear whatever you choose as I don't care if you match or not, but you usually do and are really good at choosing outfits. Dresses are your favorite as you love to look pretty you say.

This year for your birthday, you were very lucky and had 3 parties. You said it was because you were turning 3, and I told you this year only! You first celebrated in your preschool class with Popsicle and you got a book for a present. You loved everyone singing and of course getting to have a Popsicle! Then, we took you to Disneyland for your birthday and you had Uncle Justin visit as well as Auntie Liz and Grandma and Grandpa! You were so excited! You rode Autopia with Uncle Justin and then a lot of rides with Auntie Liz! And then on your actual birthday, we had a party at the Library Park and had Rapunzel come and visit. You were in heaven. When she walked up, your face just lit up and you were in awe that she was there. It was so worth it for that right there!

I love you my amazing, bright, beautiful, clever girl! I can't wait to see what this year brings us. I know it will be an amazing adventure as everyday is an adventure with you! :)

I love you to the moon, the stars, and the planets, always and forever!

MommyAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14250010623465183744noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7714372584003732542.post-8499833853723787332016-08-06T04:00:00.000-07:002016-08-06T04:00:34.115-07:009 Months!Orion,

Oh, my happy boy, you bring such joy to our lives! It feels like you have always been a part of our family and yet, I also feel like I just found out I was pregnant with you! ❤

You are an adventurer. You want to go and look at everything. You are on the move at all times! You have mastered crawling, pulling yourself up, and walking along things. You love to climb on anything you can, especially things you shouldn't. We have already had to lower your crib to the lowest level because you were climbing so much!

You also love to eat! Anything you can get your hands on, you want to eat it. One day, I found a leaf in your hand that you were happy to attempt to eat. You are very fast, so we have to watch you like a hawk as you find things we can't even see! So far, you have loved everything we have given you. You are for sure not the picky eater of the family!

You finally got two teeth this month! Your bottom two teeth came in a day apart from each other. Teething was rough was for you, but you made it through. You just need a few more to come in and then a wholenew world of food can be introduced!

Sleep... Oh sleep... you still do not sleep through the night. We got really close and you were doing only one wake up at night, but then your teeth came in. Now we are back to 2-3 wakeup per night. I know you will sleep someday and then I will moss the time with just you and I rocking, but today, I want sleep :)

You make each day better. I am constantly told by the teachers at daycare how awesome you are and happy you are. I love picking you up and seeing that big grin of yours! And I swear you have said Mama, but no one else has heard it, so we won't count it just yet, but when you do, it will be amazing.

Love you always and forever my little dinosaur ❤❤

MommyAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14250010623465183744noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7714372584003732542.post-71275730291065943492016-07-08T11:19:00.003-07:002016-07-08T11:19:52.963-07:008 Months!Orion,

These months are flying by so quickly! So quick in fact, that I missed writing about month 7!

You are an absolute joy! I hear this from everyone, including random strangers that we see when we are out. Everyone loves the joy that just pours out of you. Even when you are sad, you still have a bit of a smile on your face. You are just my happy boy and I love it. My favorite though is that now you light up when you see me after I have been away at work. It is the best! Though, you also have now started to cry when I walk away, which is just heartbreaking!

You are also quite the mover and shaker. You are a pro at the army crawl and are SO fast! You have done a real crawl a couple times, but the army crawl works for you, so you seem content with that. You are also a climber. Anything you see, you try and climb up and over. This also has lead to you standing while holding things as well, and occasionally, when we hold your hands, you take a couple steps. Just testing it out, I think we still have a couple months before you actually take a step, but we will see!

You LOVE food! You have loved pretty much everything we have given to you. And you get upset with us if we do not feed it to you fast enough! We are trying to find more things you can feed yourself as well, as you enjoy that. You don't have any teeth yet though, so it is had to find things soft enough to give you. You do love the teething biscuits that we give you and the bananas and avocado. I keep waiting for your teeth to pop through as you act like they are coming, by gnawing on everything, but so far still just a cute gummy smile :)

You are still not sleeping through the night. We are working on this. At this point, I would just be happy with one wake up a night instead of the 2-3 times! Though, your schedule did get a little crazy due to our vacation, so we are working on getting back to it!

This past month you had a big adventure! We went on a family vacation to go to Auntie Liz's wedding and then to Disney world! It was your first time on a plane and you did really well. You just wanted to see everything and check out everyone. I was really impressed. You also LOVED meeting all the characters at Disney World. You gave them the biggest grins, it was so sweet to watch you interact with them, though you did try and eat Aladdin and Mickey's fingers! They thought it was hilarious! It looks like you are going to be a good traveler like your sister, which makes me excited for the family adventures that await us!

You also had another holiday occur, which was the 4th of July. This was a special one, because last 4th of July was when we found out that you were a boy! It was so crazy to think that a whole year has passed now since we found that out. It was so much fun playing in the pool (which you loved) and then seeing the fireworks (which you also loved) and just enjoying being together as a family.

I love you my happy dinosaur so much! You bring such a joy to our lives that I didn't know until you arrived was missing. I am so happy and feel so blessed that I get to be your Mommy.

Love you always and forever!!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14250010623465183744noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7714372584003732542.post-37241275277490102872016-05-06T17:27:00.002-07:002016-05-06T17:27:54.967-07:006 Months!Orion,

Happy half-birthday! I can't believe it has already been half a year. I know I say each month that the time is just flying by, but it really is!

You are such a happy boy! I love when I pick you up at the end of the day and you are just all smiles and your cute squeaky laugh. It is the best sound!

You are now officially sitting up. You started sitting up a bit more about 2 weeks ago while leaning on your hands, but last week, you decided you were just going to sit straight up and didn't need the support any more. You also are a pro at rolling both ways (front to back took awhile for you!) and you also love to spin yourself in circles. Your daycare teacher tell me that they think you are going to crawl very soon!

You do not have any teeth yet, but I expect to see some soon. You have begun to put EVERYTHING into your mouth lately. We have had to be really on top of your sister to make sure she doesn't hand you anything as you just immediately put anything you get into your mouth. We have started some foods and so far you have loved everything. You are getting oatmeal almost every day. We have also done homemade applesauce that Daddy makes for you as well as homemade sweet potatoes. You have gobbled it all up! I don't think you will be a picky eater!

Your sleep is still a bit all over the place. You wake anywhere from 1-3 times at night. There were a couple weeks this past month where you would wake up and then be WIDE AWAKE and not want to go back down. It would take us 2+ hours to get you back to sleep! Luckily, that has passed and hopefully does not come back! The past week you seem to wake between 1-2 and then again between 3-5am and then up around 6:30-7 for the day. We are going to start working on stretching that first wake up to be not until 3 and then only wake up again at morning.

You already had your well appointment and are coming in at 17.5 pounds! My little chunky monkey! You are also 26.5 inches, though you were very squiggly when they tried to take the measurement, so they don't think it was quite right. We will see what our measurement says when we measure you tomorrow on our wall :)

I love you my little dinosaur! You bring me such joy and happiness! I love watching you interact with the world and begin to figure things out. This week we handed you a tambourine and you thought it was the best thing ever! You also LOVE your sister and she LOVES you! And I love watching you both together. It is so sweet.

I love you always and forever!

This month seemed to be the fastest of them all! I know it is because I am back at work and now juggling work with you and your sister, but still, it just flew by!

You are just one happy little man! You almost always have a smile on your face. If I am ever in a bad mood, I just need to look at you and that smile makes me feel a million times better. I hope you are always this happy and smiley!

You are officially a roller now! You only like to roll though from your back to your stomach. You really don't seem concerned with rolling from your tummy to you back! Which is funny, because all the books say that tummy to back comes first, but what do they know! :) You are also quite the inchworm and can turn yourself to get to toys that you want. You have also started to do some sort of yoga pose where you get up on your hands and on the tips of your toes, almost like a downward dog move! I know soon enough, you will get those knees under you and start crawling!

You are still quite the eater. You still feed every 2.5-3 hours during the day. Though we are working on stretching that to 3 hours. And at night, you go about 5-6 hours for the first stretch and will wake anywhere from 12-2am for first feed and then back up between 3-5am. We will be starting oatmeal this weekend, and I have a feeling you are going to love it!

This was your first full month at daycare as well. You seem to be doing really well there. All the other kids are much older, but you seem to find them entertaining which is good. I brought in your rock n play sleeper for you to sleep in as you did not like their cribs. You have been doing much better ever since!

You continue to be very amused by your sister and she just loves to make you happy! I love watching the two of you together and just know that soon enough, you both will be playing together and conspiring shenanigans!

I love you my little dinosaur or as I usually say, my little man (which your sister now likes to call you as well!). You light up my world and I love you so much!

Love always and forever,

You amaze me each and every day! I cannot believe that you are now two and half years old. It still feels like you were just a baby to me. And yet, you are now talking full sentences and have no problem telling daddy or I what you think! You feed yourself, are starting to dress yourself and basically have just become this little person over night.

I am so happy that you have continued your love of books. If we would let you, you would read 100 books each night before bed! But, that was taking too long, so we had to cut down our number of books :) Though you have gotten sneaky lately and will have us read you books and then once the lights are off for bedtime, you then ask for a story. You love to have us tell you Goldilocks and the 3 bears, The 3 little pigs, and Hansel and Gretel. You like to chime in as well with what happens next in the story. It is so cute when you do The 3 Little Pigs and do the Huff and Puff part and the chinny chin chin part. If I could read to you all day, I would!

You also seem to be taking after your daddy, and have grown an appreciation for playing board games. You seem to really like the cupcake game and you also like to "play" with some of daddy's games. I know he is so excited to be able to play games with you!

You found a new love as well, and that is Paw Patrol. You have become obsessed with Paw Patrol. So, we have watched that a few times! At the moment your favorites are Everest and Skye. You still enjoy watching Sofia the First as well. You have also started to want to watch some of the Classic Disney movies like Beauty and the Beast, Bambi, and Dumbo. I loved it when one night, you decided you wanted to get dressed up as Belle, and put on her dress. Then you came out fully decked out and requested to watch the movie. As that is one of my favorite movies, I loved watching you enjoy it! I love being able to share my love of Disney with you!

You also got to move up to the Preschool last month! You are SO excited to be in Miss Cheryl's class. Daddy and I had to convince the school that you should move up, but luckily, they realized how ready you were and agreed. So, the beginning of February, you officially moved to the preschool. You love being able to go on walks and field trips to the Fire Truck that is on campus. You are also with you friends again, which makes you happy. Ryder seems to be your best friend, though you guys seem to go back and forth each day on if you actually like each other or not! You also like to play with Ellie, Miles, Paul, and Layla. You are also doing the Tumble Bee Bus at school once a week. You LOVE being on the bus and playing and learning how to do monkey bars. I am so happy that they bring this to the school for you to enjoy!

You light up my world, Aurora. I don't get as much time with you as I used to, but I love our time each night when we go to bed. It is one of my favorite parts of the day, laying there reading you books and watching you fall asleep. I know I stay in your room longer than I should, but it is the only time I get with just you and I cherish it! I love you to the Moon and Back and always and forever!

Orion,

And here we are, another month has flown by! This month I just tried to soak up as much cuddle time with you as I knew my leave was coming to an end. I did have to go to some meetings already at work, and you just came along with me! Everyone doted on you and just wanted to play with you!

You continue to be such a happy boy! I love to see your cheeky grin! And boy do you have some cute cheeks :) You also have this adorable little chuckle that you do. Started to get out of the squeaky sound and closer to a laugh. Either way, it is adorable!

Sleep seems to go back and forth with you. Some nights you will only wake up once (though these seems to be less and less...) and other nights you wake a ton. I would like to go back to when you only woke up once, and I know you will get there. You are still in the bassinet by our bed, and the time for you to move to your crib is quickly approaching. I will be very sad when you are in your own room as I like having you by my side. But, I know it will be better for you to be in your own space and get used to your own room.

You are still an eating machine. You go about 2.5-3 hours between a feed during the day. We are working on stretching you closer to the 3 hour mark though! You also at the end of the month, started to get bottles consistently now that you are in daycare. I was nervous a first as they said you were not taking the bottle, but by the end of the week you had it done!

So, the big thing this past month was at the end and you starting daycare. I, of course, cried as I will miss our days together. But, I know you will have new friends soon and will love it there. Plus, you are so close by that I still come and see you everyday at lunch time :) I am very blessed that there is an on-site daycare!

You are also getting close to rolling over. You actually did roll over one-time, but haven't done it again. You are very good and getting yourself on your side, but just don't make that next little roll. I know you will get there though! You are quite the move though as you will wiggle yourself and get yourself where you want to be. Looks like a little inchworm going around!

Your sister is probably your biggest fan! She is always trying to make you happy. It is so great to watch you two together. You just light up when you can see her. I can't wait to continue to watch your relationship grow.

I love you so much my little chunky monkey! You make me so happy and I just love being your Mom! I love you always and forever!

MommyAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14250010623465183744noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7714372584003732542.post-35443577163418275562016-02-06T20:23:00.000-08:002016-02-06T20:23:05.297-08:003 Months!Orion,

I was just looking at pictures from your birth. It does not feel like it was three months ago that I finally got to meet you! They always say times goes so quickly, and it seems to be going even faster this time around. You have also grown so much already! You have gained 6 and a half pounds already. I didn't measure your height today, but last month you had grown 3 inches from birth, so I figure you have grown at least another half inch as your clothes are now getting tight!

You are such a happy and smiley boy! I love to make faces at you and watch you grin. You are also starting to do a real laugh now which is adorable! You are also doing so well at tummy time and just pop your head right up. No rolling over yet, but you do like to wiggle yourself around and toward toys or me. I call it the inch worm move because that is basically what it looks like!

You are sleeping pretty well, most nights you have two wake ups, which is not bad. A couple of nights you have slept till 4am which has been awesome! Hopefully those nights become more frequent as Mommy like her sleep! :) You nap fairly well during the day. We had construction this week and that disrupted your pattern. When it is quiet, you do quite well at the Eat, Play, Sleep routine. Though, to get you to sleep, I do have to bounce you on an exercise ball! Someday we will break that habit! I don't mind it too much though!

You love to eat as well! Usually during the day you eat every 2-2.5 hours. Ocassionally, you will go three hours, but not often. Slowly we will work on lengthening that, but for now I will take the time and enjoy it. You eat so fast anyways, it is not much cuddle time to begin with!

Your big sister loves you so much and is constantly trying to hold you or play with you! You love her too, as you always light up when you see her! I can't wait to watch your relationship grow and hope you become great friends!

You have added so much joy to our lives, I love you more each day! I look forward to each day and watching you look at the world with your new eyes. I love you always and forever!
In just the blink of an eye, somehow my little baby girl has grown up and become a big girl. Today she started preschool! Technically she is starting early but all her friends move up to the Preschool in January but because she wasn't two and a half yet they left her behind in the toddler room. She was ready, we knew she was ready, her teachers knew she was ready, and so we went and talked to the director who agreed that she was ready for the big girl class! She was so happy this morning when I dropped her off and got to take her to the big girl yard. She immediately ran over to show me the new music toys and found her friends and I just sat there and watched her and couldn't believe that my baby girl is such a big girl now!

Also in the blink of an eye, she is finally potty training. One day she just decided she was going to do it and that was that. So we have about a full month now of her fairly consistently using the potty. We still have a few accidents here in there but overall during the day she tells us when she needs to go and she is good to go. I finally packed up her diapers yesterday and realized she was not going to be in them ever again. It was very sad but at the same time so exciting as I watch her continue to grow and become this amazing little girl.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14250010623465183744noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7714372584003732542.post-30182711514886512092016-01-13T13:44:00.001-08:002016-01-13T13:44:11.769-08:00RenovationsSo, we finally took the plunge and decided to have our master bathroom renovated. It looked like an old lady grandma bathroom, with blue and pink tile and wallpaper not only on the walls, but also the ceiling, yes the ceiling.

We got three quotes, we picked a guy, and I was feeling so optimistic. Then it started. Now, I have watched my fair share of HGTV shows, so I expected some issues. But, seriously, it has felt like each day has been one issue after another. And of course these issues all cost money...

Now, I know when this is over I will be so happy with the final product and the fact that I can actually shower in our bathroom as we haven't been able to in two years. But being in the middle of this, just not very fun. I just pray that we start to get more wins and no more issues arise...

Oh look, the project manager is here, let's see what he has to say now...Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14250010623465183744noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7714372584003732542.post-19548832877061063602016-01-06T20:35:00.000-08:002016-01-06T20:35:06.424-08:002 Months!Orion,

Happy two months my little chunky monkey! You are now already 12 pounds and 13 ounces and 23 and a half inches! You are quite the growing boy! You did awesome at your appointment today as you had to get 4 vaccines! You cried when it happened but calmed down pretty quickly and then just wanted to cuddle after which was just fine with me!

You are also becoming a good sleeper which really makes me happy! You were doing 11-5 and then we decided to start a bedtime routine for you at 8pm. This took a few days for you to get the hang of but last night was your best night yet!

This past month was one full of celebration as it was Christmas time! We did the Santa Train and you met Santa. You also went to Frozen on Ice which was really more for your sister, but you seemed to enjoy it. You had your first visit to Disneyland for our traditional Christmas Eve visit! We then celebrated Christmas at our house. And finally, New Years was night two of your new bedtime and you did not want to miss out on the fun of the holiday and refused to go down!

You are generally quite a happy little boy and give me lots of smiles now and your little squeaky laughs! Especially during diaper changes where I can get a lot of smiles out of you!

We are slowing getting into a routine. You are still eating about every two hours which is fine by me as long as you keep sleeping at night :)

Your sister is constantly loving on you and anxiously awaiting when you can play with her! I know it will be here sooner than I think!

I love you always and forever!
So, first off the birth story.

This time was very different as I had scheduled c-section. It was very odd to know exactly what day he would be arriving. Though everyone told me he would come early and did not trust he would stay till the day before his due date, I knew he would!

So, at 5am on November 6th, we left for the hospital. Luckily, I had pre-registered and we were able to go straight to labor and delivery. There they got me settled in my room and started checking my vitals, getting me hooked up to the iv. Which was terrible, the nurse could not get it in and I had a bruise for two weeks!

Then at 7 they came and got me and took me to the OR. This is when I got nervous. It was a much smaller room than I had imagined. It was very cold and the anesthesiologist, was not the friendliest. They sat me up for the spinal and I knew I needed to stay very still. Well she stuck me and I felt a shock in my butt. I then panicked by moving I ruined something. She did a shot again and again I felt a shock and jumped a bit. They then laid me down and I just laid there while they chatted to each other and counted all the equipment in room. I started to feel numb and then nothing. I knew it was working when I saw my stomach going nuts with him moving around and I couldn't feel a bit of it. Such a bizarre feeling! Finally they said we were ready and Jon and my Mom were brought in. They out the screen up which is like 4 inches from my face, so I couldn't really see anything or turn head to look at Jon.

I then hear the doctor say ouch and the other doctor as if he was ok. Apparently, he burned himself! Before, I could think to much about that, they had pulled out my baby! They held him over the screen for me to see before taking him to the warmer. I tried to watch him but couldn't see anything at all. It was very annoying to not have him. Finally, they placed him on my and I just remembery first thought being how much he looked like Aurora! I just stared at him while they finished me up. Sadly, they took him while I went into recovery, but we were back together in about 30 minutes and I haven't let go of him since!

One Month

Orion,

It does not feel like it has been a month already since you arrived. It has been a whirlwind of a month, but I can't remember the time before (that could be lack of sleep though!).

We love you so much and you have been a wonderful addition to our family! Your big sister really loves you! She is constantly kissing and hugging you and asking to hold you. It is so great to see the two of you together. I hope you two are close and have a great sibling relationship!

At the moment, you do a lot of eating, sleeping, and pooing! You lobe to be on the move and close to me, so you don't sleep very well if you are down and alone. So, I spend most of my day rocking and holding you or wearing you in my carrier. We will need to get you to sleep on your own soon, but for now, I am enjoying the snuggle time with you!

You tend to eat around every two hours, but sometimes it feels like every hour! That is ok as you are growing like a weed and I can see that already! The newborn clothes that were loose on you, are now getting snug and tight! I am not ready to start packing up clothes already!

Sleep is sporadic. You seem to take a long nap in the late afternoon. This past week you have gone about 3 and a few nights 4 hours in the beginning of night, but then you want to me up and when you do go back down you then wake every two hours. Hopefully, we can start to stretch that first bit longer and longer!

You also have very strong neck muscles already. Like your sister, as soon as you were born, you were holding your head up!

I love you so much and am so happy you are here. I can't wait to watch you grow and see what your personality will be! I love you always and forever!

I am in denial about the fact that you are two. It just doesn't seem possible that you are already two! I can still remember you being born so clearly, and it does not feel like two years ago! Though on the other hand, I can't really remember a time that you were not in our lives either, so in some ways, it seems longer than two years. Either way, these past two years have been amazing with you!

Your speech and vocabulary amaze us every day. You talk non-stop and can count and say your colors. You LOVE to read books, which makes me so happy. You are often confused for being older than you are because people see you talking so much! You also love to sing all the time. We were in Target last weekend and you were belting out songs as we strolled through the whole store. I hope you keep this up as it is adorable and so much fun. You usually sing Disney songs and this past weekend you learned Hakuna Matata! It was one of the cutest things I have seen (though I may be a bit biased!).

You are VERY excited for your birthday as you understand that you get to go to Disneyland! Your favorite is It's a Small World, and you sing this song and request it to be played at all times. I really hope you also keep this love of Disney and always want to continue going to Disneyland. You told me the other day that you want to work at Disneyland! So, we will see if that continues to be true as you grow up!

You really enjoy being outside, whether that be on a walk, swimming in the pool, or playing in the sprinklers! We try and do a couple walks each week before bedtime, and man, we do not need a personal trainer when we have you around! You tell us on our walks to, Run Daddy, Run Mommy, and are keeping us all fit! :) You also are learning what it means to cross the street, and will now tell us, look left, look right, proceed with caution! I just hope you remember it when we are not around!

I think your favorite thing this past year, was probably Frozen. You seemed to get the Frozen fever and want to watch, play, or read about Anna, Elsa, and Olaf. You enjoy other princesses as well, but I would say overall this past year, Frozen has been the clear favorite. I was surprised though when I asked what you wanted to be for Halloween and you answered Rapunzel! I have asked you this for many days now and the answer stays the same, so I think we will have a Rapunzel this Halloween.

You have been very kind to us these past few weekends as I am still really tired, I bring you to bed and you just snuggle with me for a bit. Sometimes, I put on a Disney movie on my phone and you just snuggle and I love it. Such a great way to start our weekends!

I am so proud to be your Mommy. I am constantly being told when we are out how mature you are and how happy you are and how great you are! I know all these things to be true, but it is always nice to hear! You truly have added so much to our lives and I love watching you grow and learn and can't wait to see what you have in store for us this next year. I look forward to seeing how you react as a Big Sister (hopefully well!) and take on that new challenge. You have another year ahead of you in the Toddler room where I know they are working on challenging you each and every day!

Aurora, I love you more than words can describe and more and more each day. Thank you for these wonderful two years and all the joy you have brought. I just know each year will just get better and better! :)

Love you always and forever,

One more month and then you will be two. I am not sure how this happened! Where did my little baby go! You are such a big girl now!

In fact, we moved you this past month to your own big girl bedroom. I was a bit nervous about it, but we had been talking it up for awhile now, how you will move to your "Tiki Room", so when it came time to move, you did great! I was very surprised and happy to see how well you adjusted to your new room. You also, thank goodness, have decided to stay in bed and have not roamed out of it yet. I think adding the bed rail has helped, but either way, that was my big worry and so far you have stayed in bed. You also have stayed sleeping and haven't woken up in the middle of the night or earlier than normal, which both daddy and I are very thankful for! We are still transitioning though so most of your clothes are still in the nursery. Your dresser was just delivered, so hopefully soon you will be fully moved over to your new room. You have also taken well to the new routine needed to go to bed in your new bed. We had to cut out rocking as the rocking chair is in the nursery. You have only panicked once about that, which I was not sure how you would handle that as you love to rock. Instead though, I climb into bed with you and lay with you while you fall asleep. I know I should not stay with you as long as I do, but I know my nights of having just you are coming to an end soon, so I am soaking up as much just Aurora time as I can.

I know I say this every month, but you truly do amaze me each and every day. You are getting so smart and are talking SO much. You speak now almost always in sentences, which is amazing. You also are learning how to ask for things, which is important. You sometimes forget your please and thank yous, but we always remind you, and you are getting better and remembering on your own. You also will count now and have started to say your colors (though most things tend to be green!). Your counting is what really amazes me. I am shocked every time you do a countdown and do it correctly!

You also hit the tantrum stage a bit this past month. I know they say this is normal for two (or in your case almost two year olds), but I hope it is a quick stage! You really can go from totally find, to a major meltdown in 2.5 seconds. We try and not give in to the tantrums, but sometimes, to be honest, I am tired, so I will cave! Luckily, most tantrums seems to be at least short and you do not do the drag out lay on the ground and kick your feet forever type. You will lay on the ground and pout, but we can usually distract you out of it quickly enough.

This month was also the first time you became "scared", or at least you were able to verbalize it to us. You get a bit clingy and just say, I scared. We hold and comfort you. I actually wonder sometimes if you are really "scared" or you just like the attention. You tend to talk about it a lot afterwards. Same with when you get "hurt". You will talk days later about something that happened to you at school or if you fell down. You haven't gotten majorly hurt, but it seems to leave an impact on you as you bring it up a lot. I think it is because during these times you get a lot of attention, but what do I know!

I look so forward to this final month of you being a one-year old and look very forward to what being two will bring! I know you will continue to amaze me each and every day. And I am thankful every day that I get to be your Mommy. When you give me a hug, it is truly the best feeling in the world! Those little arms wrapped around my neck, I cherish each and every moment! I love you more than words can describe!

Love always and forever,

We had a wonderful 4th of July party! Our family and friends showed up to celebrate the 4th as well as to find out what we were having. We decided to do the big reveal with sparklers as I had not heard of anyone else doing this kind of reveal. It did not go exactly as planned!

I found a great website that had smokeless sparklers a while back and I should have just ordered them then. I did not, and so 3 weeks ago when I went to order them, I found out that they no longer had blue. In fact, they emailed me back saying that there was a National shortage on blue sparklers! How is that even possible! So, I did some quick googling and found a somewhat sketchy site that did have blue. Once they arrived we did a test of them, and while the blue was light, we could see that it was clearly blue (the red was noticeable). They were also very smoky, but we figured it would be fine.

Well, the time arrived for the reveal. It was very awkward at first to have everyone just staring at us as we waited to get the sparklers! My mom was the one who was opening the envelope and was going to pass us the sparklers. I told her I was not going to look at her as I knew she would give it away. So, she handed them over and we lit them up!

They were BLUE! Well, to us they were! I didn't shout out because I assumed everyone could see, plus the smoke was in our face and I did not want to breathe too much in! I did "write" boy with my sparkler, not that anyone knew I was doing so. I was wondering why no one was saying anything, and then I heard, WHAT IS IT? I yelled out, It's a BOY! And then people were excited. I then found out after, that they just saw the fire and no blue and had no clue what it was! My Mom told me she was panicking she had passed us the wrong ones! WHOOPS!

So, lesson learned, next time, we will just do cupcakes! hahaAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14250010623465183744noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7714372584003732542.post-41072972122332266982015-07-03T08:30:00.000-07:002015-07-03T08:30:00.058-07:0022 Months!Aurora,

This year seems to be going faster than last year! I am struggling with the fact that in 2 months you will be 2 years old! This is just crazy and does not seem real. Yet, here we are, and you are now 22 months old. You are really starting to look more and more like a little girl and all "babyness" is really leaving you.

You, as always, continue to amaze me. You are so smart and lately have been using your smarts to get you what you want! You know if you ask Daddy for one more dinosaur book, he will read it to you. You also know when you are about to be in trouble and will suddenly run up and give us a hug and say, I love you.

Though, you have started to become a bit more of a troublemaker lately. You have really started to test your boundaries and the rules. The other day, I told you not to touch something, you stared at it, stared at me, I know you knew what I said, and then you deliberately touched it. Of course that meant a time out, which you do not love. What we really need to work on is you running away in parking lots! You seem to think that is a playground and you give me a heart attack each time you try and dart out into it. No matter how many times we have said to hold hands, not to run in parking lots, for some reason, you see it, and try and break free and run!

While your trouble maker streak is coming out, you are still the sweetest (I am not biased at all!). You want to have me read stories to you all the time, which I love! You love to play with your dolls and push them around in your stroller. You also now will come up and pat my tummy and say, Hi baby, which of course is the cutest thing ever. You like to go on walks and love to be outside!

We now have a very good night time routine for you as well. You just started taking baths in the "big girl" bath and you love it! You will point out all the animals in the tub, my favorite being how you say octopus (apple-puss). It is adorable and so we ask you to name that one all the time! You then always need your blankie and an animal with you. It was Mickey Mouse for quite a while, but the past week you have become obsessed with a triceratops (ceratops) that you got. I think this is because daddy plays dinosaurs with you all the time and you two are always roaring at each other! You call him daddysaurous as well sometimes! You two are so cute to watch playing together!

One of my favorite things you started doing this past month was singing! You would in the past sing a long occasionally with us, but now you will just start singing on your own. Your favorite songs at the moment are It's a Small World (you sing this the most), Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and ABC's. I really need to record you singing soon, I just haven't been able to capture it just yet!

I look forward to these last two months of you being 1! I have been teaching you to do the number two with your fingers and asking how old you will be on your next birthday! I love you my little dinosaur princess! You light up my life and make me so happy each and every day!

Always and forever,

I am sorry, I missed your 20 month update. May is a busy month and suddenly it was June! But, you were amazing as always, so don't worry! :)

You crack me up on a daily basis! The facial expressions and comments you make are just hilarious. I swear, every time I turn around, you have learned a new word. You really enjoy being silly and then saying, "Look at me! Look at me!" until we look at you and tell you how silly you are! You have also started to say, now, mine, and go away. So, we are working on manners and being nice as well. Though, I am still very proud because more times than not, you will say please when asking for something and thank you, once you have gotten something. There are still many times when you are having full conversations, but I just do not know what you are saying. Often times, this comes with much finger pointing to get a point across. I just nod my head and say, oh really, wow, and hope that was the appropriate response for what you were saying!

You really love your dolls as well and usually have at least one stuffed animal in your bed with you. You also still use your pacifier at night and ask for you blankie. Though you don't see to care what blanket it is, as long as you have one. We are working on slowly taking the pacifier away, but will probably wait until your molars have all come in before officially taking it away. You also really enjoy coloring and we now have crayons all over the living room.

My favorite activity you do though is reading. You LOVE to read and it makes me so happy! We have to read at least two books a night, though you always try for more. Actually, you have become quite the distractor when it comes to bed time. You will do anything to delay bedtime. Most nights we will cave and read a third book, just because we love to read to you!

You are also so smart (and while I am biased, your teachers tell me all the time how smart you are so I know it is true!). You are starting to say your colors, you will count to three (though you still occasionally like to skip two and go right to three!), you can name all the princesses (another proud mommy moment), and can name most animals and the sounds that they make. And that is just the stuff I can remember at the moment!

You have become quite the picky eater though, and I wish you would go back to eating most foods! All you want to eat now is cereal, granola bars, fruit snacks, and luckily all fruit. So, basically, you have fruit for meals and then we attempt to get you to eat the rest of whatever it is. Lately, you have been starting to eat sausage, so we have been making that, but it is still hit or miss. You do not like pasta or potatoes (so sad as I can make those easily for dinners!) and you will rarely eat vegetables. I even eat my veggies, to be a good example, and you still do not (which to be honest is quite annoying!), but we keep trying. Hopefully, you will decide to eat a variety of foods again!

You are now sleeping most nights from 8pm-7am. For some reasons you seem to know when it is the weekend and wake up earlier and I wish you would sleep in a bit more on those days! You also have now had a cough for what feels like two months. It is usually only at night and we keep trying things. I put the diffuser in your room and that helps, but it only runs 4 hours, so I have to replace it in the night because as soon as it stops, you cough again. So, I am finally buying an 8 hour one (which I should have done awhile back!). Hopefully, the cough will go away. Some have said it is allergies, others that it is still lingering from your cold awhile back, but who really knows. If it doesn't get better soon, we will go back to the doctor. But, during the day, you are happy and healthy and no issues whatsoever!

You have also become a big fan of Disneyland (you really know how to make your mommy proud). A could weeks back, you walked up to me and said, I am going. I asked you where you were going to and you said, I am going to Disneyland (so proud). So, a couple weeks later we took you! You ask to go all the time now, and luckily we have passes so we can go. You LOVE the Tiki Room, and when you get your big girl room this summer, it will be a Tiki Room! You seem to be happy about that decision as whenever we ask you about your new room, you get very excited and tell us it will be a Tiki Room. So, hopefully, when you do move, it goes smoothly! You are also a big fan of It's a Small World and will now very cutely, sing the song! It is probably the most adorable thing ever. I really need to record it!

Actually, you have been doing a lot of singing and dancing lately, and it is just too cute! You also "hop" which is adorable. You can't actually hop, but do more of a skip type movement, but you say "hop hop" every time you do it in the sweetest voice! We have also started to try and do more walks at night (to help tire you out) and you seem to really enjoy those. Hopefully, we can keep up with doing them.

Lastly, you found out that you are going to be a big sister! I know you do not really understand what that means yet, and you still have 5 months until the baby arrives, but I know you will be a great big sister! I am sad that we are going to lose this one on one time with you, but know that seeing you with your baby brother/sister will be so amazing and I know you will love them so much. You already say "nigh nigh" to the baby and sometimes "hi" to the baby in the morning. It melts my heart every time. So, these last 5 months that it is just us though, I am going to truly cherish and soak in as much, Aurora time as possible. I know you won't even remember this time as you get older, but we want to make it as special as possible as we are in our last months as a family of three.

Love you always and forever, more and more each day,
So, I had my first beta on Saturday and it came back at 157! So, I am officially pregnant! :) I am thinking it is just one as Aurora's beta was 147 and this is only 10 more than that. But, I will have to wait 3 more weeks to find out for sure how many are in there!

3/16/15
Had our ultraound! I was right and it is just one perfect little bean in there. I am still in shock that it worked the first time! I mean, last time we did FET, it did work the first time and that is how we got Aurora, but it was two years until that happened. This time, a call to start, did meds, no canceled cycle, no lining issues, just straight to transfer! And then this! So happy and our official due date is 11/7/15!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14250010623465183744noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7714372584003732542.post-77466890589340839702015-06-02T16:46:00.000-07:002015-06-02T16:46:00.149-07:006dp5dtIn the IVF world that means 6 days past 5 day transfer (the embryos were frozen 5 days after retrieval). This was when I got my first positive with Aurora, so I chose this to be my first test day this time around. And... it worked! The Wondfo tests that I bought from Amazon were terrible. It showed a maybe hint of a line after 5 minutes or so. But, I can't take just one test, so I had also done a Clearblue Digital and that showed in very clear words - Pregnant! So, now I just need to wait until Saturday to get the official blood beta test results!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14250010623465183744noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7714372584003732542.post-6164010582168955442015-06-02T16:30:00.000-07:002015-06-02T16:30:01.529-07:00Transfer I wrote these while happening, but didn't want it "out" in the world so saved them until ready to announce.

After much discussion and debate, we decided we were ready to try for another baby! This time around it was so much easier. No two years waiting and wondering what was going on. This time, we knew we had frozen eggs, and so when we were ready, we called up and started our FET cycle! We started our cycle on January 25th. For the first time in the whole year of fertility issues, a cycle went completely smooth (we will see if it works or not though). I got my blood taken and amazingly did not need to go on birth control and could start my meds right away. This time I even got to take estrogen as a pill and not as a shot! Then each appointment went well and all looked good. At my third appointment, I had a minor worry as the nurse did not tell me to up my dose from last time, but shockingly, I was still ok! So, on February 19th, I went in and had my transfer! They transferred two blasts. It was really cool because this time we got an ultrasound picture of them in my lining! We saw them go right where they belong. So crazy to see the very beginning of process that most people don't get to see. Gotta find a bonus in this infertility stuff!

So, now the long wait to see if it works. This is the worst. I hate waiting! 10 days to go...Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14250010623465183744noreply@blogger.com0
